How it works
One flow, four steps, nothing assumed.
Your server asks KonetPay for a payment, your customer pays on a hosted page, and you confirm the result from KonetPay itself before you deliver value.
- 01
Initialise
Your server creates the payment with your secret key: amount in kobo, customer email and your own reference.
- 02
Redirect
You send the customer to the checkout link KonetPay returns. Payment details are only ever entered there.
- 03
Pay by transfer
The customer completes the payment as a bank transfer. When they return, the redirect is a signal, not proof.
- 04
Verify
You receive a signed webhook and can verify the transaction by reference. Check the status, amount and currency, then fulfil.
Static virtual accounts
A dedicated account number for a standing collection.
Issue an account that a customer pays into directly, tied to one purpose such as a specific customer or subscription, instead of one order at a time. Create, list and block accounts through the API.

For developers
A small API surface you can read in one sitting.
Eight documented endpoints, one response envelope, signed webhooks with retries, and separate test and live keys. Our guide follows the public documentation, which remains the authoritative reference.
